Laura & James Stories - Mo Wedding & Events

Laura and James first contacted me because they dreamed of having their wedding in Italy but didn’t know which part of Italy would be right for them.  They knew it was going to be minimalist and it had to be in a natural setting with lots of greenery and flowers.  I took them to see a lovely Umbrian location that offered vast gardens, a floral pergola for the ceremony, a lake and green hills, and enough accommodation that their wedding party and close family could stay on location.  The Umbria region was going to be the setting for this lovely couple and they could see their Italian Destination Wedding come to life!

Their Italian experience started off with an engagement shooting in the lovely Capital City, Rome.  They visited the Vatican, rode the metro, drank coffee from a little bar in the tight alleys in the center of Rome, sat on the Spanish steps, and watched the sunset, from Gianicolo Park, over the city’s rooftops.

The engagement photos were ready and the planning begun.  The piper led the bride to her groom, in Scottish tradition.  Guests were enchanted with an outdoor reception table and a Wine Bar with the finest wines from Abruzzo.  A stone table planted in the garden and 4M long was going to be protagonist for this dining experience transforming itself in a pasta island, pizza island, and BBQ island.  The same table later accommodated two millefoglie cakes that would be assembled by an Italian pastry-chef and an English pastry-chef (guest at the wedding).  Side-by-side, sac-à-poche in hand, they entertained the guests who chanted and cheered as the wedding cake(s) began to take shape.  The evening ended with a bread and cheese island whilst guests enjoyed the fireworks show.
